Since ancient times,China and Vietnam have been in frequent contact in economic,political,and cultural aspects,therefore Vietnam has been deeply influenced by China.For purpose such as communication,over time the Vietnamese used words from the Chinese dialect,they're called Sino-Vietnamese words.Sino-Vietnamese words are the product of long-term contact between Chinese and Vietnamese language.They're an indispensable part of the modern Vietnamese vocabulary system.They penetrate into all levels of Vietnamese vocabulary and restrict the style of Vietnamese language."Sino-Vietnamese phonetic","Sino-Vietnamese language","Chinese loanword","Sino-Vietnamese word","Chine source word" are all terms used in academia,which are used for different researching objects,purposes,opinions and for terminology used.This study takes "Sino-Vietnamese word" as the research object,and uniformly uses the concept of "Sino-Vietnamese words".This article takes Sino-Vietnamese words as the main research object,and based on a comprehensive description of the phonetic,semantic,grammatical,and expression characteristics of Sino-Vietnamese words,as well as the corpus of different types of representative newspapers "People's Daily" and "Youth Daily" officially published by Vietnam.Statistics on the occurrence frequency and usage characteristics of Sino-Vietnamese words in different areas of the above-mentioned newspapers.Taking Dong Hoi City,the central city of Vietnam,as the survey site,selecting different types and different social characteristics of the survey site,selecting different types and diffrent social characteristics of survey subject,using questionare survey methods to survey the residents of Dong Hoi City and students language use,the knowledge and characteristics of Sino-Vietnamese words,and relevant language attitudes;using field observation methods,image collection methods,questionnaires and interviews
