With the increasing influence of Chinese in the world,more and more Bangladeshi students want to learn Chinese currently.However,Chinese characters have become the biggest obstacle for Bangladeshi students who came from Non-Chinese Cultural Circle."Students are difficult to learn,teachers are difficult to teach" has become a problem that needs to be solved.Therefore,the author put forward three interesting explaining methods and practicing methods of Chinese characters for adult beginners based on the organic combination of the interesting principle.On the one hand,it tries to solve the difficulty of "difficult to remember,recognize,write" encountered by Bangladeshi students in the process of learning Chinese characters.On the other hand,it can enhance the interest of students from zero starting point in learning Chinese characters and help them reduce the difficulty of memorizing Chinese characters and improve the efficiency of students'recognition of Chinese characters.This paper consists of six parts.The first part is the introduction of the background,the significance and method of the research,the present situation of the research and the related theoretical basis.The second part introduces the basic situation of Chinese character teaching in Confucius Institute of Dhaka University in Bangladesh,and grasps the problems and difficulties of teachers and students in the process of teaching and learning Chinese characters by means of questionnaire survey.In the third part,aiming at the problems and difficulties existing in teachers and students,three Interesting Chinese characters methods of explaining and practicing are designed.The fourth part is about the investigation and analysis of the Interesting Teaching effect of Chinese characters.To prove the effect of interesting Chinese character teaching,the author adopts the form of final test and questionnaire survey.The fifth part is to summarize and analyze the whole process of Interesting Chinese Character Teaching,to reflect on the shortcomings,and to put forward some suggestions for improvement.The sixth part is the conclusion of this paper,which summarizes the conclusion of this paper.The practical results show that the Interesting Teaching Method of Chinese Characters is still reasonable and effective for Bangladeshi adult learners.This teaching method can enhance students' interest in learning Chinese characters,reduce the difficulty of learning Chinese characters,enhance the scientific understanding of Chinese characters system of beginners,and help the beginners to read and memorize Chinese characters effectively.
