With the rapid increase of cross-cultural communication, the significance of interpreter's subjectivity is growing.Interpreters'appropriate exerting of subjectivity can not only enhance translating quality but also facilitate interaction among interpreter, speaker and listeners and thus, ensure the success of the communication.Interpretative Theory emphasizes that interpreting is a communicative process rather than a mere communicative result, and it also stresses that meaning produced in interpreting is the combination of the interpreter's linguistic knowledge and cognitive effort. Therefore, this theory would be conducive in guiding the interpreters to exert their subjectivity.Based on her own interpreting practice in Yuan Longping High-tech Agriculture Co.,Ltd.,under the guidance of Interpretative Theory, the author illustrates how could interpreters show their subjectivity in interpreting three stages including comprehension, deverbalization and reformulation.Interpreters could advisably adjust the source language to help listeners understand the source language more easily and comprehensively, even reduce and avoid the misunderstanding and contradiction between speakers and listeners,so as to facilitate interpreting activity more smoothly.Through this study, the author summarizes the concrete strategies that interpreters could apply to show their subjectivity in three stages of interpreting. At the stage of comprehension, interpreters should fully understand related background and speaker's implication. In the second stage, deverbalization, interpreters should apply the sense of memory mechanism and then choose the appropriate memory methods supplemented with proper cognitive efforts. Finally, interpreting skills such as amplification, abridgement and adaption can help interpreters to utilize their subjectivity properly in reformulation. This result would have referential value for interpreters showing their subjectivity.
