Aoyama Hiroshi was one of the two Japanese scholars who have been persisting in research of Ci-poetry before the 1980 s,the other one was Tetsumi Murakami.He devoted himself to studying Tang and Song Ci-poetry,mainly focusing on four objects-Among the Flowers:the Hua-chien Chi,treated as the representative work of Tang and Wudai Dynasties;Qin Guan,treated as a great master of Elegant Ci in Northern Song Dynasty;Zhang Yan,treated as a great master of Ci in Sorthern Song Dynasty;and comment on Song Ci,which aim at outlining the history of Tang and Song Ci and picking out masterpieces.The paper intends to tease out and analyze the four main objects of his research on Tang and Song Ci-poetry.It not only discusses his views on specific writers,works and comments of Ci from a micro view,but also emphasizes on his research vision as well as gains and losses from a macro view,so that gains comprehensive views.The paper is divided into some chapters according to Aoyama Hiroshi's research directions of Tang and Song Ci-poetry.The introduction summarizes the research results of Tang and Song Ci-poetry in Japan,the domestic research results of Tang and Song Ci-poetry,a brief introduction of Aoyama Hiroshi's life and research results of Ci-poetry.The first chapter discusses Aoyama Hiroshi's research on Ci of Tang and Wudai Dynasties,including the study of Wen Tingyun's,Wei Zhuang's,Sun Guangxian's,Li Xun's and Gu Xiong's Ci.The second chapter discusses Aoyama Hiroshi's research on Song Ci,three tendencies,three devolopments and three stages included,the case study of Qin Guan and Zhang Yan as well.The third chapter discusses Aoyama Hiroshi's research on comment on Ci,involving in the early Northern Song Dynasty,the middle Northern Song Dynasty,the late Northern Song Dynasty and Southern Song Dynasty.The fourth chapter discusses Aoyama Hiroshi's characteristics and limitations on study of Tang and Song Ci-poetry.In short,the paper centers on discussing Aoyama Hiroshi's research of Tang andSong Ci-poetry as well as learning about his gains and losses,in hope of contributing to the study on the research of Japanese Tang and Song Ci-poetry and Ci-poetry at the field of extraterritorial sinology,expanding and deepening Chinese research on Ci-poetry.
