Returning To Practice From Technology:The Critique On Institutional Construction Of Advanced Industrial Societies

The institutional construction of developed industrial society has always been one of the important objects of western Marxist studies.Since the Frankfurt School,the research on the role of science and technology in the institutional construction of developed industrial societies has never stopped,and has become a hot issue in recent years.In the evolution of the early industrial society to the developed industrial society,science and technology promoted the progress of productivity and the development of society,which greatly improved people's lives,but nowadays,practical factors influenced the institutional construction of the early industrial society have been replaced by technical factors,politics in the context of industrial society has thus lost its practicality.The process of analyzing and criticizing the highly technicalized industrial institutional construction and development of the advanced industrial society enables us to be vigilant about the possible adverse effects,and finally return to explore the political practice from blindly pursuing the rationality of technology,and always maintain concerns about human freedom and enlightenment.This paper revolves around the core elements of the institutional construction of industrial society.It is divided into four parts to criticize this alienation from practice to technology and the technology itself,and to explore the possibility of returning to practice from technology.The first part focuses on the logic of productivity and discusses the law of institutional evolution in the early industrial society.The second part mainly analyzes the technological logic's overstepping of political logic caused by the expansion of modern social technological factors,and it builds the cornerstone of technical system construction.The third part criticizes the highly technicalized industrial system construction and its manifestations that have been formed,and summarizes its integrity to people,nature,politics and technology itself.Repression,this repression will lay the foundation for the return of political practice.The fourth part,under the support of the first three chapters,establishes the possibility of returning to politics from technology,focusing on the structural system construction crisis caused by technological expansion in today's society,and the "negation" along with the construction of technical system.The renewed hope of "affirmation" is the return of political practice and the comprehensive development of society and people.
