A Study Of Don Ihde's Concept Of Technology And Culture

The concept of technological culture is one of Tang Ihde's main philosophical thoughts.Ihde's philosophical research can be divided into three stages:phenomenological stage,technological philosophy stage and post-phenomenological stage.Ihde's philosophical thought is the product of the collection of philosophical thought circles.His philosophical thought is deeply influenced by Husserl,Heidegger,Merleau Ponty and Paul Ricoeur,which is also the ideological source of the concept of technology and culture.In this paper,according to the ideological context of Ihde,starting from three aspects:technology transfer,technology-culture Embeddedness and multi-culture Concept,taking technology-culture as the main research object,the author makes a detailed explanation of Ihde's technology-culture Concept.In clarifying Ihde's thought of technological culture,this paper also explores the influence of technological culture on the shape of life world.Combining with the research opportunity of turning to the life world,this paper explores the role of technological culture in the life world and provides guarantee for our understanding of technological cultureThis paper finds that the concept of technological culture is an extension of Ihde's philosophy of technology,which provides a new way of explaining the problems derived from technology and culture in today's society.At the same time,in the process of research,it is also found that Iide's concept of technology cuhure has the limitations of conceptual ambiguity and weak theoretical support,which lead to the slow development of Ed's concept of technology culture.However,the concept of technological culture is still a strong support for Ihde's study of life-world morphology and post-phenomenological theory.The concept of technological cultur-e promotes the development of Ihde's later thoughts.
