From The New Period To The New Era An Research On The People-Orientation Of The Chinese Film Creation Since The Reform And Opening Up

Since China embarked the path of reform and opening-up from 1978,the feature of people-orientation has gradually faded in a certain amount of Chinese films to cater to the market.Therefore,severely commercialized films are losing their function of aesthetic and social education.At this historical point,we should reacquaint the significance of the concept of people-orientation,which is of typical literary and artistic value with Chinese characteristics,and reinforce the role that film plays of better serving the people.Only in this way can Chinese films do a self-examination so as to seize new opportunities and face with new challenges.To take an insight into the artistic aesthetics and creation of the films,this paper figures out the transformation of artistic criterion on films and directors' value orientation under the perspective of the people-oriented production.Meanwhile,it summarizes the value of Yan'an Spirit both for the past and present.All of the above will not only boost the people-oriented production with the help of unique and nationalized aesthetics,making Chinese films the spiritual driving force for the national rejuvenation.
