The Evolution Of Chinese Social Development Concept During The 35 Years Since Reform And Opening Up

The all-around development of human beings is the essential requirement of building socialism.The development concepts of three core leaders in the past generations,including Deng Xiaoping,Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao,have been changing with different background and material conditions of the Times during the past 35 years of reform and opening up.Therefore,we can attempt to take "peopleoriented" as the clue and point of penetration,and expound the evolution of development concepts from the relationships between social development and all-around development of human beings.The first chapter mainly clarified the logical relationships between th e social development and the overall development of human beings.Firstly,on basis of analyzing the concepts of development and social development,this paper expounds the basic views of Marxist classical writers on social development.Secondly,starting from the problems of human needs and human development,this paper expounds that the fundamental task and goal of social development is to meet human's reasonable needs and realize their all-round and free development.Finally,this paper extracts the clue "people-oriented" throughout the whole text,and clarifies the connotation of "people-oriented" by comparing "people-oriented" with "material-oriented",Traditional People-oriented Thought and western humanism tradition.The second to the fourth chapters take the time as the context,and take the development situation and development concept before the reform and opening up as the background.By means of summarizing the formation background,main content and relevant policy practice of the three generations of core leaders' development view,this paper presents the social development view of Deng Xiaoping,Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao,and refine the "people-oriented" concept contained in their social development concepts.In the fifth chapter,through expounding the agreement between the social development view of several generations of leaders and the people-oriented concept one by one,it summarizes the evolution law of the social development concept in the past 35 years,which contains more and more rich understanding of human development,and emphasizes the satisfaction of human needs at a deeper and deeper level.On this basis,it expounds how the progress of social development concept affects people's real life in an all-round way.
