China's heavy-duty paintings have a long history,and their morphological language presents different styles in different historical periods,including the language of the colored surface.The shape of the line has always been regarded as the most mainstream form of Chinese painting.However,with the rejuvenation and development of the heavy painting in modern times,modern heavy color painters have noticed that the color form has existed as the main form of formation in the early Buddhist heavy color murals in China.It is researched and applied to the creation of modern heavy color paintings.At the same time,due to the influence and inspiration of modern foreign painting and art concepts,the linguistic mode of color-faced creation has been continuously innovated and developed in the practice of modern heavy-color paintings,showing unique artistic characteristics and meeting the aesthetic needs of modern people.The article defines the categories of modern heavy color painting,color surface shape and other related concepts,briefly describes the development process of color surface shape in Chinese painting,and shows that color surface shape is a kind of shaping method inherent in China's heavy color painting.The linguistic mode of modern heavy color painting focuses on the planar and graphical observation method,and uses geometrical color surface graphics to shape objects and divide the spatial level of the picture.Guided by the composition of the color surface,it pays attention to the construction of the skeleton of the picture form and the color arrangement between the color blocks.This also provides the possibility of the intervention,penetration,stacking and dilution of the mineral color in the graphic range,for more diverse materials.Create conditions with the technique working together in the same plane space.The style characteristics of the modern heavy-color paintings also have a relatively clear type classification,which can be roughly classified into three categories,namely,directly absorbing the tradition of inheriting ancient murals,drawing on the forms and concepts of modern Western paintings,and paying attention to the imagery of ink and wash.The modern heavy color works created by the language of the color surface form a flat and orderly graphic structure.The saturation of the colors in the picture is high and the contrast is emphasized.The combination of color graphics with different materials and texture effects not only enhances the graphic meaning of the work,but also enriches the decorative effect of the picture,bringing a unique aesthetic experienceto the audience.The innovation of this paper is to combine the analysis of typical works,sum up the style characteristics and aesthetic characteristics of modern heavy color painting,and explore the relationship between flat graphics and new materials and new techniques.
