As a carrier of culture,language has always been the most important part of a country's cultural soft power.Therefore,all countries in the world have consistently promoted to spread the language and culture of their own nation to the world,thereby enhancing the country's soft power and enhancing its international influence.Many countries have developed a language testing system for non-native speakers while teaching their own language and spreading their culture.Language testing has an indexing effect on self-evaluation of second language learners and second language teaching.For the educators,he is also an important way to reflect the teaching results and improve the quality of teaching.In the 1990s,the Chinese Language Proficiency Test Center of Beijing Language and Culture University developed a national standardized Chinese test for non-native Chinese speakers,namely the HSK.With the continuous improvement of China's international influence,the HSK has received more attention.After many reforms,the new Chinese Proficiency Test(HSK)has been formed,becoming the most influential Chinese at home and abroad.As a second language test.In the early years,Japan introduced a Japanese language test as a second language,the Japanese Language Proficiency Test(JLPT).After years of accumulation and reform,the Japanese Language Proficiency Test(JLPT)is now the largest Japanese language test in the world.The new HSK and the new JLPT are the most representative language tests for the detection of Chinese and Japanese standards for second language learners in China and Japan.Although there are some differences in the content and methods of testing,they also have their own unique characteristics.specialty.This paper will conduct a comparative study of two second language tests,focusing on the comparison of test structure,test material selection and test questions,and then explore the advantages and disadvantages of the new HSK relative to the new JLPT.The full thesis is divided into six parts.The primary part is a introduction,which introduces my research views of this thesis.The second part introduces the basic situation of the new HSK and the new JLPT test.This part will introduce the grade outline,score evaluation and test structure of the two language tests,and compare and analyze them.The third part and the fourth part are the analysis of the new HSK and the new JLPT high-level part of the set of real questions,the new HSK and the new JLPT high-level test in the listening and reading part of the structure,selection and questions A comparative study of three types.The fifth part is a brief description of the language knowledge part of the new JLPT and the writing part of the new HSK.The sixth part summarizes the viewpoints of this paper and proposes improvements for the new HSK test,and looks forward to the future development of the new HSK test..
