| The main part of this article consists of five chapters,the main contents of which are as follows: Chapter 1 is the introduction,which points out the significance of the topic,and summarizes the previous studies on Chinese " 上 " " 下 ",English "on" "under" and teaching;Chapter 2 is the comparative study of Chinese "上" "下" and English "on" "under".It is a contrast between semantics and grammar.In addition to expressing spatial meanings," 上 " " 下" and "on" "under" also have many other meanings and parts of speech.They have certain similarities and differences in both semantics and grammar.Chapter three is the error analysis of the orientation words "上" and "下" of foreign students.According to the examples of international students from English speaking countries collected in the Northern Corpus,the errors made by international students can be divided into three categories: omission,redundancy and confusion of words.At the same time,attribution analysis is also carried out,namely negative transfer of mother tongue,negative transfer of target language and teaching factors.The fourth chapter is about the teaching strategies of the orientation words "上 " and " 下 ",mainly in two aspects.One is classroom teaching,which adopts different teaching strategies according to different types of errors;the other is to arrange corresponding consolidation exercises for students at different stages,which are divided into three stages: primary,secondary and high. |
