Career construction provides orientation and motivation for students' learning behavior.There are many studies on the relationship between career construction and learning behavior at home and abroad,but the mechanism research on how career construction affects learning behavior is rare.This paper attempts to analyze the direct relationship between "career construction" and "school engagement",as well as how the “psychological capital” as a positive psychological factor and the “study procrastination” as a negative psychological factor play a role in it.Additionally,it is initially explores how career construction affects learning behavior.The study adopts the “Student Career Construction Questionnaire”,“Student School Engagement Scale”,“Positive Psychological Capital Questionnaire” and “Secondary School Student Academic Procrastination Questionnaire” to conduct a questionnaire survey on 809 ordinary high school students.SPSS was used for data processing to analyze the relationships among career construction,school engagement,positive psychological capital and academic procrastination.The research mainly includes two parts: Firstly,it analyzes the relationship among career construction,positive psychological capital and school investment of high school students,including the correlation and regression analysis of career construction,positive psychological capital and school investment of high school students,as well as the mediating effect test of positive psychological capital in career construction and school engagement relationship.The results illustrate that there is a significant positive correlation between high school students' career construction,positive psychological capital and school engagement.The career construction of high school students can positively predict their school engagement level,and positive psychological capital plays a significant mediating effect between career construction and school engagement.Secondly,this paper studies the relationship among high school students' career construction,academic procrastination and school engagement,including the correlation andregression analysis of career construction,academic procrastination and school engagement of high school students,and discussing whether the career construction can alleviate the negative impact of academic procrastination on school engagement.The results show that there is a significant negative correlation between high school students' academic procrastination,career construction and school engagement.Academic procrastination can negatively predict the school engagement of high school students.Through cluster analysis,it is found that in the academic procrastination high score group,The group of learning inputs with a high score for career construction is still higher than the group with low career construction,which demonstrates that even if students have academic procrastination behavior,they can still maintain relatively high school investment as long as they have a high level of career construction.The study draws the following conclusions:(1)High school students' career construction,positive psychological capital,and school engagement are significantly different in terms of gender,grade,parental education,and family income;there are significant differences in high school students' academic procrastination in grade,parental education,and family income.(2)There is a positive correlation between high school students' career construction,positive psychological capital and school engagement;high school students' academic procrastination is negatively related to life construction and learning investment.(3)Positive psychological capital has a mediating role in the relationship between career construction and school engagement(4)Career construction can alleviate the negative effect of academic procrastination on school engagement.
