In the late Qing Dynasty,the qing government carried out the new policy in order to maintain its own rule.Thanks to the establishment of the new school system,sericulture education in shandong also developed.On the one hand,the suitable topography,climate conditions and the long history of mulberry cultivation and sericulture in shandong provide a good condition for the development of sericulture education in shandong.On the other hand,due to the failure of the sino-japanese war in 1896-1895,the local economy of shandong province collapsed due to debt apportion and various exorbitant taxes.At that time,silk had a broad market at home and abroad,and silk trade was relatively prosperous,which made it possible to develop sericulture to revitalize local economy.While countries are competing to develop sericulture,there are new problems in sericulture industry in China.Most of the sericulture farmers in shandong are conformism and not good at improvement,which reflects the necessity of developing sericulture education in shandong.In the late qing dynasty,the sericulture education in shandong province formed a complete system from primary agricultural school to middle sericulture school and then to higher agricultural school.Sericulture school in the new system is a kind of agricultural school,including classification,enrollment information,curriculum,teaching management and incentive measures according to the agricultural school system.The representative schools are yanzhou primary agricultural school,qingzhou sericulture school and shandong higher agricultural school.At the same time,the establishment of sericulture education in shandong province can't do without the support of zhou fu,zheng bijiang and Yang shixiang and others.With the support of the policy and the efforts of the people concerned,sericulture education in shandong province achieved its due results in the late qing dynasty.Silkworm schools and establishment of agricultural school has trained a batch of understand modern sericulture technology professionals,not only promoted the local CanSangYe popularization and improvement,also promoted the development of other provinces CanSangYe,also promoted the development of the local industry,in addition the school quite productive silkworm schools or agricultural school,and then continue down,all of this has paved the way for the modern silkworm education in shandong.Although the sericulture education in shandong achieved good results,it was restricted by the social environment at that time and its internal problems,and its development also had big problems.On the one hand,the society in shandong was in turmoil under natural and man-made disasters,which obviously restricted the development of sericulture education and sericulture industry.On the other hand,the local government is faced with severe financial pressure.In addition,the education of silkworm learning under the New Deal was established according to the western educational system,so it is inevitable that there will be some inadaptability to the national conditions and many imperfections.In the process of adjustment,it will also bring difficulties to the organization and management of the school.Teachers also have weak faculty and teaching methods do not adapt to the situation.At the same time the students also have the problem of poor foundation and pay more attention to the reward system.Many factors restrict the further development of sericulture education in shandong.
