Land Reform Review Campaign

As an important part of rural social reform and the construction of state power,the land reform movement in the early period after the founding of the People's Republic of China was a profound social reform,and the review movement in this process was an essential and important part.The review campaign is not only a crucial step to thoroughly solve the problems left by the land reform,but also an important step to restore and develop the productive forces.However,there is a lack of research on the land reform movement in Shanxi Province,and there are few studies on the background of the land reform review movement in the early years of the founding of the People's Republic of China.Therefore,it is necessary to study the reexamination movement of the land reform in Shanxi Province at the beginning of new China.This paper discusses from four aspects.Although the land reform movement made some achievements in the early stage,the land reform movement in xiaoyi county was influenced by the left-leaning policy of the land reform in the shansi-suiyuan area at that time,which caused serious damage to the interests of middle peasants and businessmen and caused great damage to the development of the whole society at that time.At the early stage of its establishment,the xiaoyi county government carried out positive social reforms,including eliminating the hostile armed forces,banning cults,and rectifying the internal discipline of the government.The basic reforms gradually stabilized the social environment at that time.However,the internal contradictions in the village have not been completely resolved.Around the basic level contradiction further formed the land as the core of the clan contradictions and women's issues.In addition to the remaining problems,the village was seriously polarized and feudal forces resurfaced.The remaining problems and polarization became the necessary conditions and policy basis for the review campaign.The review campaign in xiaoyi county began at the end of 1949.The specific tasks of the review campaign include: recovering the occupied farmland by means of land inspection and class inspection,and correcting the wrong elements;Through the compensation to the middle farmers and businessmen,we win back their support and recognition for the movement.For the issue of land rights and interests issued with legal effect of the land certificate.With the completion of land certificate issuing work,it marks that the remaining problems with land as the core have been preliminarily solved.However,in order to completely end the land reform,we need to thoroughly solve the problem of polarization of villages,which is ultimately a problem of development,and the key to solving the problem of development lies in the development of productive forces.Therefore,the sports needle review launched a series of targeted measures centering on the development of production.During this period,by expanding the scale of the mutual aid group and solving the contradiction of substitution farming,the mutual aid group was combined with the "patriotic fertility" campaign to drive more people to participate in it.At the same time,it strengthened the resistance to natural disasters,carried out democratic reform of water conservancy,and promoted new agricultural technologies and production tools on a large scale,which fundamentally promoted the level of agricultural productivity at that time.During the movement,the "right" inclination that once appeared was restrained by the systematic deviation correction meeting,making the movement continue on the normal track of "correcting the left and preventing the right".After the review campaign,xiaoyi county not only completely solved the problems left over from the land reform,but also further established the core leadership position of the poor and hired peasants in the organization.Economically,the scale of mutual aid groups has been expanded to benefit more farmers.At the same time,it has reversed the adverse situation of industrial and commercial development and promoted the overall productivity of the whole society.
