This paper is a translation practice report.The original text of the translation is Everybody Lies,and its Chinese translation is the research object of this translation practice report.The third chapter,the fourth chapter and the fifth chapter text are selected and totaled about 23.000 Chinese characters.Everybody Lies is a social science book about online big data.In this book,the author uses large amounts of data to tell interesting anecdotes and counterintuitive facts,revealing the world as it really is.Everyone is lying except your search engine.In this translation practice report,the author uses a variety of resources,according to the four characteristics of social science texts,using deconstruction translation theory combined with examples to analyze and make translation recommendations.When the translation process was completed,translated text has been through proofreading several times,and finally it was published.The author only hopes to provide some inspiration for domestic big data research.
