With the background that innovation is regarded as the primacy of the five developmental concepts,the impact of employee innovation on enterprise receives extensive attention from the academia.Focusing on the motivation of employees' innovation activities,Regulatory Focus is a kind of personal trait that describes the motivation orientation of human beings,which is based on motivation.Therefore,from the perspective of Regulatory Focus theory,the writer intends to carry out a research to test the mechanism of leader-member regulatory fit on individual innovation activities.First of all,the measurement research of leader-employee fit and innovation activities is based on Regulatory Focus theory.Then,it reveals the two-layer antecedent mechanism in individual innovation activities.Namely,the mediate role of leader-member exchange in Regulatory Focus and innovation activities,and the moderate role of organizational culture in Regulatory Focus and innovation activities,whose purpose is to enrich the research of employee innovation.In this study,416 pairs of effective questionnaires were collected from the in-service leaders and employees in Guangdong,Hunan and other regions through the questionnaire survey.What's more,Polynomial regression analysis and three-dimensional curve response were used to test the results.The results showed that:(1)There is a significant relationship between employee prevention focus employees and exploitation innovation,leader-employee prevention focus fit strengthens individual using exploitation innovation;There is a significant relationship between employee promotion focus and exploration innovation,and leader-employee promotion focus fit strengthens individual using exploration innovation.(2)Leader-member exchange only plays a mediate role in leader-employee prevention focus fit and individual exploitation innovation,and it does not play a mediate role in leader-employee promotion focus fit and individual exploration innovation.(3)Hierarchical culture and hierarchical culture play a moderate role in preventio n focus employees and individual exploitation innovation;adhocracy culture,hierarchic al culture and market culture play a moderate role in promoting focus leadership and exploration innovation.organizational culture have no moderate effect on regulatory focus fit.
