Analysis On The Function Of Commentary In Humanistic Documentary

"Documentary Godfather" Grierson put forward a documentary production method-"illustration of narratives" form,that is,"Grayson Model",once influenced the production and development of documentaries from 1930 s to 1950 s.However,since the 1950 s,there has been a lot of anti-criticism of the Grierson model.It is generally believed that the Grierson model dispels the folk discourse and overemphasizes the educational function of the documentary.However,in the course of filming the documentary film "the Great Tang Legend-He Jiaying Drumclub",the author finds that the commentary plays an important role in the Humanistic Documentary,and it is not just a kind of documentary.Commendatary is not just the voice of God,it plays an important role in the integrity of documentary narrative and the presentation of artistic aesthetics.This paper takes aesthetic theory as the basic theoretical framework,and uses the communication,sociology and other related theories,through the literature research,content analysis and text analysis,and other research methods.To explain the use of commentators in the non-legged documentary "the Great Tang Legend-He Jiaying Drummusic Society" in the graduation work,so as to probe into the functions of the narratives in the cultural documentaries.In order to provide theoretical basis and practical measures for the creation and research of non-survivors documentaries.This paper is divided into four chapters: the first chapter is the introduction,including the research background,research significance,research overview,main ideas and methods of several parts,narrating this paper.The second chapter analyzes the influence of Grierson mode on Chinese documentary writing style and people's misreading of the Grierson mode of documentaries creation,and the general frame of the whole film,"the Great Tang Legend-He Jiaying Drum Music",the second chapter analyzes the influence of the Grierson model on the Chinese documentary writing style.The third chapter explains how to use the commentary to fill the film contet and optimize the narrative integrity of the documentary "the Great Tang Legend-He Jiaying Drummusic Society";The fourth chapter clarifies the function of the narratives in the documentary "Tang Legend-He Jiaying Drummusic Society";The fifth chapter reflects on the creation of explanatory words from the perspective of subject and object;Conclusion part of the whole film and paper to make a summary of the analysis of innovation and shortcomings.
