Application Of Minimal Music Techniques In Primary Phase

Minimalism music emerged in the second half of the 20 th century in the United States.Its "minimalism" creation concept was deeply influenced by the "minimalism" in the paintings and sculptures of the same period.It mainly refers to the use of as few materials as possible and the simplified technique in the creation of works,making music seek change in the invariable and novelty in the plain.Also known as "repeat music" because of its "extremely repetitive" nature.This paper tries to through the four representatives of contracted music composer La Monte Yong,Terry Riley,Steve Reich,Philip glass,and the successor of the four works of John Adams is analyzed,explore "sustained note","phase change","additional process" and "module to repeat" four kinds of different forms of its contracted music creation techniques,and in the concrete practice of the completion of the expanding use of contracted technique,solve the problem of the combination of theory with practice and transformation.
