In the face of the country's increasing attention to the promotion of Chinese culture,the importance of film as a medium for the dissemination of Chinese culture in international Chinese education activities is increasingly prominent.Since the new century,Chinese foreign-related films have become an important way for Chinese culture to go abroad,and heroic narration has often become the main narrative method of these films.This paper studies the heroic narration and its values in Chinese foreign-related war films in recent ten years,and these films can be divided into the ancient hero narrative,modern hero narrative,contemporary hero three types.An in-depth analysis of the three representative narrative films and the essence of the values they convey.This paper discusses the existing problems and solutions from a cross-cultural perspective,hoping it can inspire the spread of Chinese culture.The preface contains three sections: the origin and significance of the research;the research overview and objectives;the definition of research objects and research methods used in the paper.In the ancient hero narration part represented by the Dragon Blade,this part analyzes the illusion of the "coexistence of enemy" and the essence of "cosmopolitanism" behind the official hero narration,and explores the elite perspective and the looming of "natural humanity" behind the enlightenment hero,revealing that the actual value is attached to the fable of "post-97" Hong Kong,which establishes the subject of "the other".In the modern heroic narration,by analyzing the essence of "humanitarianism" advocated by the American heroes in The Flowers Of War and the illusion of "equality" and the replacement of "nationalism" in the prostitute hero narration,they all reveal that the film is the modern fantasy of the citizen class and the revisionist reconstruction of history.In the contemporary heroic narration,the soldier hero in Wolf Warrior? represents individualistic heroism,while the stereotypical presentation of Africa in the "salvation" hero narration contains chauvinism of great powers.What they reveal is the logic of "the law of the jungle" and the integration of "the mainstream of civilization" in the film,which finally establishes the subject of "the west".The conclusion points out that in recent years,the hero narration of foreign-related war films are all under the new historicism and finally show the western values.By revealing the flaws and dilemmas of three films from different eras,it is of certain enlightenment significance on how to create films with Chinese characteristics on the solid subjectivity.
