Modern Chinese is a typical quantifier-type language.Predecessors have studied the overlap of nominal phrases and momentum phrases to a certain extent, but the overlap of time-based phrases has not been studied in depth.Based on the research results of the predecessors, the author has determined that the research object is the three commonly used overlapping formulas of time-quantity phrases: “when a quantity is measured”,“when a quantity is one quantity”,When measuring." For the selection of the quantifiers in the time-quantity phrase,we mainly use the 41 modern Chinese quantifiers that have been verified by Mr.Lu Jianming.By sampling the corpus of three time-quantity phrases in the BCC Modern Chinese Corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University, combined with the related theory of the "three planes" grammar concept,a combination of static and dynamic methods is used, from syntactic, semantic and pragmatic.Three perspectives study the system of time-quantity phrase overlap. The main research contents of this paper are summarized as follows:The author thinks that the time-quantity phrase overlaps with “a quantity of time” and can be used as adverbial, attributive, and subject in semantics;semantically can express the grammatical meaning of “one by one”,“multiple meanings”,“each right”,and Semantic features of "overall","weak order",and "closeness".Pragmatic effects can produce a strong sense of language rhythm, and can have a strong generalization of language, usually in the form of written style. When the time-quantity phrase overlaps, the phrase “one quantity and one quantity” can be used as adverbial, attributive, subject, and object components, and can express the grammatical meanings of “one by one”,“multiple meanings” and “each right”,and has “ Semantic features of individuality, strong order, and discreteness.Pragmatic expression of the rhythm of language, the symmetry of language and the degree of subjective measure, and often appear in written form. The syntactic overlap of the hourly phrase can be used as adverbial, object, complement, attributive, subject, etc.,to express the grammatical meaning of “multiple meanings”,“order meanings”,and “continuous meanings”.The semantic features are characterized by “descriptiveness”,“subjectivity” and “additionality”.Pragmatic effects can express strong emotions, strengthen the speaker's voice, and enhance the image of the language. The author hopes that the ontology research on the overlapping of time-quantity phrases can be applied to the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language. Therefore, some teaching suggestions are proposed from three aspects: syntax, semantics and pragmatics.
