PART I:The Reliability?Validity and Shanghai Norm of Family Functioning Assessment Scale for ChildrenObjectives: Develop the Family Functioning Assessment Scale for Children(FFAS-C).Test the reliability and validity, calculate the shanghai norm and the demarcation value. To expanding the perspective of family functioning assessment, enrich and develop family functioning assessment tools. Methods: A total of 2931 children aged 7-12 years old in Shanghai were selected and stratified by age and grade as the main variables. All children completed the FFAS-C,parents completed the General Demographic Information Questionnaire and the Family Function Assessment Scale-Total Function(GF).FFAS-C was retested with the same procedure for 252 children at 21 days later.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS20.0 and LISREL8.7 statistical software. Results: The Cronbach's alpha coefficient of FFAS-C is 0.808,and the internal consistency reliability coefficient of each dimension is between 0.603 and 0.729.The Pearson correlation coefficient of each score of the scale is between 0.431 and 0.607(P<0.01).The Spearman-Brown fractional reliability coefficient is 0.822,the Guttman half-confidence value is 0.815,and the retest correlation coefficient is 0.74(P<0.01).The results of exploratory factor analysis showed that FFAS-C could be divided into three factors, which were verified by confirmatory factor analysis. The three factors were better fit.The GF high score grouped according to GF score was divided into FFAS-C total score and dimension Scores were higher than GF low group(P<0.01).Developed the Shanghai norm and demarcation points of FFAS-C.Conclusions: The Family Function Assessment Scale for Children(FFAS-C)has a good reliability and validity, and is suitable for the assessment of the family functioning of 7-12 years old school aged children in Shanghai.PART II: A Comparative Study on Family Functioning of Children with ADHD and Healthy ChildrenObjectives: To compare the general information and family functioning scores of children with ADHD and healthy children,to explore the difference of family functioning between the two groups of children, calculate the positive rate of family functional deficits in children aged 7-12 years old in Shanghai, explore the relationship between family functioning and emotional and behavioral problems of ADHD children, and the relationship between behavioral problems and family functioning in children with ADHD,and the influencing factors of family functioning in ADHD children's family. Methods: The age and grade as the main variables in accordance with the proportion of stratified sampling,2446 children were selected form Shanghai aged 7-12 and their parents,125 children who were diagnosed with ADHD were enrolled form Shanghai Mental Health Center. All children complete FFAS-C,parents complete the General Demographic Information Questionnaire,SDQ and PSQ.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS20.0 statistical software. Results: There were significant differences in gender, father's age, mother's age, family type, number of children, family income, parental marital status, parenting style, family communication and the frequency of parental quarrels among children with ADHD and the healthy children(P<0.01).The FFAS-C total score and dimension scores of ADHD children were higher than healthy children, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.01).Among the 2446 healthy children who participated in the survey, the positive rate of family functioning defect was 5.23%,7.25% for boys and 3.11% for girls. The positive rate of gender was statistically significant(?2=21.08,P(27)0.001).The correlation between the two dimensions of SDQ,all dimensions of PSQ and FFAS-C was statistically significant(P<0.05);Logistic regression analysis showed that the protective factors of family functioning were children's gender, harmonious marriage, helpful ways of parenting, parental rearing, and frequent communication. The risk factors of family functioning were rough and cursed parenting style. Conclusions: There are differences in family functioning between ADHD children and healthy children.ADHD children's family functioning has more difficulties,ADHD Children's emotional and behavioral problems are related to family functioning,ADHD Children's Symptoms of performances are related to family functioning.Chileren's gender, parental marriage harmony, family communication and parental style will have an impact on the functioning of the family.
