| Chinese characters have always been a difficult point in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.For a long time,in the research of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the study of teaching Chinese as a foreign language is the weak link.In recent years,although there has been some development,there is no unified standard.In teaching practice,most teachers teach Chinese characters according to their own preferences.This paper mainly introduces the component teaching method in teaching Chinese characters to foreigners.The author hopes that through the analysis of the teaching methods of Chinese character parts and components and his own teaching practice in the United States,the author can provide other teachers with the basis of teaching Chinese characters as a foreign language,hoping to help teachers in teaching Chinese characters as a foreign language.This paper consists of four parts.The first chapter of this paper analyzes the research status of the component teaching method from four aspects: the concept of components,the basis of component segmentation,the classification of components and the teaching of components.In the second chapter,compared the definition of Chinese characterparts with the definition of radicals.By comparing and finding the difference between the two Chinese characters teaching,it is found that the teaching of Chinese characters is more suitable for the teaching of Chinese characters.Then,the Chinese character components are analyzed in detail through four parts: the separation basis and method of the components,the classification of the components,the deformation analysis of the components and the specification of the Chinese characters.The third chapter makes a simple narrative of the most common parts teaching and radical teaching and makes an analysis of the applicable stage of maximizing the advantages of Chinese character teaching and radical teaching.Then the purpose of the teaching of Chinese characters is briefly analyzed.Then the principles and methods of the component teaching method are mainly discussed.Finally,the evaluation of the component teaching method mentioned in the article is given.The fourth chapter is based on the teaching experience in Texas Southern University Confucius Institute of America to write a detailed teaching design on the Chinese character teaching and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the teaching design.In addition to the analysis of the strokes,structure,component deformation and component functions of the Chinese Character Grade Outline,this paper also makes a survey and analysis on the component errorsof foreign students writing Chinese characters,which is used to explain the necessity of component teaching.Meanwhile,component teaching is important to improve the efficiency of foreign students’ Chinese learning. |
