With the rapid development of China's film industry in recent years,film is not only an important part of the cultural industry,but also an important means for people to enrich their lives and enjoy the spirit.At the same time,the film industry has brought considerable economy to the country.And social benefits.This also makes the research on the factors affecting the box office income of the movie gradually increase,but there are not many studies based on the external environmental factors of the film,and because the imbalance of development in various regions of China leads to large differences in the influence factors of different regions,this paper will Research on the regional differences surrounding the factors affecting the box office revenue of the movie.First of all,this paper summarizes the relevant literatures on the impact of movie box office income at home and abroad,and determines the main content of this research and the research methods that need to be applied.Next,the relevant theoretical basis of this research is sorted out,including regional unbalanced development theory,consumer related theory and spatial measurement methodology.After summarizing the existing research,from the two aspects of the film market ecological environment and the film market itself,the research hypothesis determines the influencing factors,and collects data from 2012 to 2017 in 31 provinces,municipalities and autonomous regions(excluding Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan),based on Spatial econometric analysis establishes a spatial error model with individual time and fixed time for the whole country as well as 31 provinces and divided three types of regions,finds the significant influencing factors affecting the box office income of different regions,and analyzes the differences between different regions.The study found that for the entire region,movie box office revenue is affected by the macroeconomic foundation,network popularity,human capital and the film industry itself.From the perspective of various regions,the economically developed Class I areas are greatly affected by the macroeconomic foundation,population culture and the development of the film industry itself;the central and northeastern regions of the II class have Internet penetration,human capital and the development of the theater itself.The number of screenings and singing sessions has a greater impact;the regions with lower economic development levels in Southwest and Northwest China are mainly affected by the macroeconomic foundation and population culture.Moreover,factors such as per capita disposable income,number of mobile phone us ers at the end of the year,and number of theaters have a negative impact on the positive impact of different regions.In theory,the research results of this paper provide new ideas and perspectives for the study of the factors affecting the box office of the movie,and make up for the blank of the external factors of box office income.In practice,we will formulate development strategies tailored to local conditions from different perspectives for the film industry in different regions.
