Peaceful development is the main theme of the present world,and it is the most important dynamic in today's world.And multilevel,economic globalization and information are the main trends of the world today.As one of the most widely used languages in the world,English plays an important and self-evident role for China,which advocated benefit and peaceful development,realize the Chinese dream of nation's rejuvenation,and fulfill its international responsibilities and obligations for a peaceful and rising China.The English curriculum standards for compulsory education stipulates that English courses should be offered from grade 3 to grade 6 in primary schools.Therefore,the initial stage of school English education is primary school English.The learning and education of primary school English will affect students' future learning of English.Due to the imbalance of China's economic development,English education in rural primary schools has become a shortcoming in China's educational development.The shortage of English teachers in primary schools and the problems of professional training and promotion make it difficult for rural pupils to obtain the same balanced education as urban pupils.Good education requires excellent teachers.By deeply understanding the present situation of English teachers in rural primary school,and putting forward related suggestions according to the present problems,will not only can improve the present situation of rural primary school English teachers,but will also improve students' English ability and contribute to the overall development of education in China.The present situation of primary school English teachers in Zhuchang Town of Bijie City is investigated qualitatively and quantitatively through questionnaires and interviews.The results of the investigation are analyzed to find out the existing problems of English teachers in primary schools in this town,and to solve these problems.Aiming at these problems,suggestions are put forward to improve the present situation of primary school English teachers in Zhuchang Town,Bijie City.
