After entering the new 21~stt century,Chinese enterprises have accelerated the pace of“going out”and enhanced their ability to operate internationally.Chinese multinationals have grown from small to large,from less to more,from weak to strong,and have gradually grown into an important member in the global community of multinational corporations.Not only the internationalization of business but also the internationalization of corporate strategy and structure are of vital importance to a transnational enterprise.In order to develop into a multinational company,it is necessary for the firm to have a deeper understanding of the business model of foreign companies.The annual report is the best choice for comprehending the financial highlight indicators and market performance of leading foreign companies.For this reason,translating and studying the annual reports of well-known foreign companies is of great significance for Chinese enterprises to enter into the global market.This paper is a translation report on Coloplast Annual Report 2016/2017.The translation project concentrates on the Management's Review of the Coloplast Annual Report 2016/2017,which mainly discusses the strategy,markets,financial review and guidance,risk management and corporate governance.And the source text is an informative text based on the classification of Katharina Reiss's Text Typology.This translation report is guided by Hans Vermeer's Skopos Theory.Through the analysis of the features of the source text and the target readers,this paper intends to explore the translation techniques of informative texts from three levels:the skopos rule,the coherence rule and the fidelity rule.This paper mainly focuses on the terms and proper name,passive sentences,and complex long sentences from the perspectives of words,sentence and discourse under the guidance of the skopos theory.This translation report can be divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces the translation task,which mainly includes the introduction of the Coloplast company,the annual report,translator's profile,and the significance of the translation project.The second chapter analyzes the features of source text in the lexical,syntactic and semantic perspective.Chapter three is the translation process description,including the preparation of the translation,the difficulties and solutions of during translation,and post-translation management.Chapter four is case study,illustrating the problems the author encountered in the translation project.Chapter five is the conclusion part of the translation practice.This report employs three rules of the Skopos theory to summarize the translation of informational texts,aiming to provide useful guidance for the translation of the informational texts as annual reports.
