Cultural revitalization is an important part of rural rejuvenation,and provides a powerful spiritual pillar and ideological guarantee for rural development.Neo-village elite are rooted in the rural society and play an important role in the construction of rural culture.Cultivating and promoting the culture of neo-villag elite and exerting their functions in rural construction have become an urgent task for inheriting rural culture and reshaping the rural society.Therefore,by exploring the participation of neo-village elite in the rural cultural construction and its influence factors,this paper hopes to enhance the participation enthusiasm of neo-village elite,so as to provide valuable policies and suggestions for the construction of rural culture.This paper firstly defines the related concepts such as neo-village elite and rural cultural construction.Based on the related literature review,Based on the related literature review,this paper constructs a theoretical framework to analyze the participation of neo-village elite in rural cultural construction based on rational choice theory,social identity theory and social capital theory,and holds that interest,identity and system are the main factors that affect the participation of neo-village elite in rural cultural construction.Secondly,this paper,taking neo-villageelite in 12 villages of Jinjiang city as the research object,understands the basic situation of the participation of neo-village elite in the rural cultural construction through field investigation,including basic demographic characteristics,types of participation activities,participation initiatives,participation methods,participation effects and problems in the process of participation.Finally,factor analysis method is used to extract the five major factors that influence the participation of neo-village elite in the rural cultural construction,including including individual life demand,public interest demand,community identity,self-identification and effectiveness evaluation mechanism from interest factors,system factors and institutional factors.This paper analyzes the impact of five variables on the participation frequency and participation depth of neo-village elite in rural cultural construction.In addition,K-W test was used to verify the correlation between demographic variables and the participation of neo-village elite in rural cultural construction.Through theoretical and empirical studies draw the following main conclusions: Individual life demand,community identity,self-identification and effectiveness evaluation mechanism are significantly positively correlated with the participation frequency and participation depth of neo-village elite in cultural construction at the level of 1%.The public interest demand has no significant influence on the participation frequency and participation depth.Among the demographicvariables,age and education leve have a significant correlation with the participation frequency and participation depth of neo-village elite.Based on the above conclusions,this paper proposes the corresponding suggestions from the following aspects,for instance,increase the recognition of neo-village elite to rural culture,safeguard their basic rights and interests,increase the support of the government,and improve the relevant system guarantee.At the same time,the differences of population statistics variables need to be of concern to meet the different demands of neo-village elite.
