Three-dimensional Profit Model Of Film Industry From The Financial Perspective

The national economic development promotes the continuous improvement of people's material and cultural needs.Film as an interesting cultural entertainment,has a great impact on the satisfaction of the rising material and cultural needs.This impact has penetrated into people's daily life and brought people's spiritual and cultural enjoyment to be recognized by most people.The film and television industry,whose main products are films,has gained a better profit level due to the big sale of films,which has led to the development of film-related industries.After years of development,foreign film and television industry has formed a relatively perfect profit model,such as branding,globalization,channelization and so on.It is worth learning from the domestic film and television industry which has just arisen in recent years.As the leading enterprises in the film and television industry,Enlight Media and Wanda Film have made great progress in recent years.After years of operation and development,the two companies have initially formed a profit model suitable for their own development.From the financial point of view,this paper focuses on the profit models of the two film and television companies,tries to build a three-dimensional analysis framework to analyze the profit models,so as to find that the profit area realizes the company value,and hopes to provide a reference for the selection of profit models of similar companies in the film and television industry.In the preface,this paper introduces the background,significance,content and method of the study,and elaborates the significance of choosing the film and television industry as the research object because of the economic development,the improvement of people's living standards,box office innovation and the particularity of the film and television industry.This paper expounds the significance of profit model from both theoretical and practical perspectives.There are few literatures in theory.In reality,profit is the ultimate goal of the company.It provides reference for the future development of other companies with typical cases in the industry.Next,it introduces the research methods,mainly for the case study method.In the second part of the article,the paper introduces the literature used in the article,mainly introducing the definition of profit model,the classification of elements of profit model and the main viewpoints of profit model in domestic and foreign literature.Next,the theoretical basis is elaborated and the analysis framework is constructed.Based on the theory of value creation,capital value,value chain and cost-benefit,a profit model analysis framework is constructed,which is based on the four elements of profit model and guided by the analysis of corporate financial indicators.On the basis of the framework,this paper analyses the typical corporate Enlight media in the film and television industry.According to the logic that business decides finance and finance reacts to business,the financial statements of Enlight media are used as data support,the financial indicators are calculated through data collation,the business situation implied in the financial indicators is found,the financial indicators are explained by analyzing the company's business situation,so that the company's business and finance can be organically combined,and the profit area can be found by analyzing the company's profit model from the financial perspective.The analysis framework is validated by introducing and analyzing Wanda's profit model.It is hoped that the research in this paper can help companies find profit areas,make more effective use of resources,and better realize the company's value.At the same time,taking the typical listed companies in the domestic film and television industry as an example,I hope to provide a reference for other relevant companies in the industry in the future development of the choice of profit model.
