The rapid development of the information age makes mobile phones an indispensable tool for teenagers. The convenience of mobile phones also brings many problems. Many students are uncomfortable with excessive use of mobile phones.Excessive use of mobile phones can easily lead to interpersonal and social interactions. Many researchers believe that social anxiety and peer relationships are significantly associated with mobile phone abuse. However, the past only explored the relationship between the two, lacking a holistic discussion of social anxiety, peer relationships and mobile phone abuse, thus reducing the actual value of the research. In view of this, this study starts with horizontal data and conducts a preliminary discussion on the relationship between the three. In addition, the interaction of mobile phone abuse, social anxiety and peer relationships is not clear in existing studies. The causal relationships presented by many research institutes are contradictory, probably because they only start with horizontal data. This also shows that to reveal the true relationship between the three,it may need to be clarified from a vertical perspective. Therefore, this study will conduct a follow-up study again, through the cross-lag analysis method,to better reveal the possible relationship between mobile phone abuse, social anxiety and peer relationships. In summary, this study used a questionnaire survey method to randomly sample 400 secondary vocational students by random sampling, with an interval of 5 months, and finally selected 395 secondary vocational students as subjects.Through horizontal research and longitudinal data, the author explores the internal mechanism of peer relationship, social anxiety and mobile phone abuse, which provides some valuable reference for the prevention and intervention of mobile phone abuse among secondary vocational students. The specific results are as follows:(1)Mobile phone abuse is positively correlated with social anxiety. The higher the abuse, the higher the social anxiety;(2)Abuse of mobile phones is negatively related to peer relationships. The higher the abuse, the worse the companion relationship;(3)When the mobile phone is frequently charged and used for a long time,it is easy to cause the abuse of the mobile phone;(4)The cross-lag model shows that social anxiety and peer relationships can significantly predict late-stage mobile phone abuse, while pre-tested mobile phone abuse does not affect post-test social anxiety and peer relationships;(5)Mediation analysis shows that peer relationships play a mediating role between social anxiety and mobile phone abuse.Social anxiety can directly affect mobile phone abuse, and can also affect mobile phone abuse indirectly through peer relationships.
