With the development of Chinese economy and internationalization of finance industry, more and more Chinese enterprises are seeking cooperative opportunities with foreign enterprises to attract investment. An opening market means wider and deeper information disclosure and sharing.Interim report is a disclosing approach of operating information, and is also part of financial English featured with frequent use of numerous financial terms, complicate run-on sentences and clear logic flow.Eco-translatology is an emerging pattern on translation studies that values ecological environment of translation and three-dimensional adaptive selection and shift.Under the guidance of the theory, problems discovered during the translation of2017 Interim Report of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China are divided into three aspects: problems in linguistic dimension, communicative dimension and cultural dimension.Linguistic problems include terminology mistranslation, improper transformation of non-subject sentence and complicate run-on sentences;communicative problems cover unnecessary modifiers, loose logic flow and functional inconsistency in expression;problem at cultural level is the omission of cultural connotation. Methods under the guidance of “three-dimensional shift” was put forward to tackle those problems.translators should at first adapt themselves to the translational eco-environment of financial English so as to make adaptive selections in linguistic dimension to ensure accurate translation and balanced conversion. Then corresponding methods such as shift of voice, addition, lessened translation and logic adjustment are adopted to solve problems in linguistic and communicative dimension. Finally, replacement and paraphrase are adopted to solve translation problems in cultural dimension.
