This practice report studies the wording and phrasing problems that occurred in the author's interpreting tasks. In his opinion, these problems were caused by his failures to take the broader scope of the event together with the functional equivalence into consideration under the workload and time pressure. He analyses the problems and proposes solutions under the guidance of the three rules of Skopos Theory and Nida's Functional Equivalence Theory.Through later practice and verification,he finds that these solutions can be effective for interpreters, especially green hands,to adjust and improve in the course of learning and real-world practice.
