The Revival And Evolution Of Hakka Agricultural Beliefs

The agricultural culture has a long history in China.It is the foundation of people's life for thousands of years.The unique of the Hakka region has enabled the agricultural belief to develop rapidly in the local area,and has been relegated under the state power and ideology system.After the Reform and Opening in 1978,Hakka agricultural beliefs continued to be active in rural fields.With the process of marketization and urbanization,the methods that people depended on agricultural production methods are changed,the Hakka agricultural beliefs also changed.On the one hand,the agricultural beliefs in the Hakka areas were in the elimination state,but still maintains the continuity of the core structure in the process of eliminating folk beliefs;on the other hand,under the influence of national power,local government intervention and social media,Hakka agricultural beliefs are not only eliminated,but instead maintaining a growing state.From the perspective of the four seasons,this paper summarizes and organizes the Hakka agricultural belief system based on Hakka's main agricultural activities(such as spring farming,summer weeding,autumn harvest,and winter collection),and discusses the elimination and revival of Hakka agricultural beliefs.Analyzing the mechanism and influencing factors of Hakka farming beliefs,aim to reveal the integration and adaptation of Hakka agricultural beliefs in the modern social changes.The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the research background,research significance and research content of Hakka agricultural research beliefs.The second chapter mainly summarizes the definitions of Hakka folk beliefs,the spiritual system,the sacrificial rituals,etc.The third chapter analyzes the rejuvenation of the four seasons beliefs revival state,and mainly includes the beliefs gods,ritual expression,social organization and historical memory of the agricultural beliefs;the fourth chapter is aimed at the third chapter of the Hakka agricultural belief revival,and analyze the mechanism of Hakka agricultural belief revival in the state power,local government intervention and social media;the fifth chapter is based on the "four villages beliefs ritual" and "one village beliefs ritual " in Xuancheng Township of Fujian Province,to explore the extinction state in the traditional Hakka farming belief which absence the external force,but its inner core structure is still inherited;the sixth chapter analyzes and summarizes the manifestation of the transformation of Hakka agricultural beliefs;the seventh chapter is about the contradictory reflection of Hakka agricultural folk beliefs in the new era background.
