Study On The Integral Protection Of Qijiang Peasant Print

The intangible cultural heritage is a carrier manifesting the public living wisdom and cultural vitality,and its artistic value and cultural connotation are different from the condescending elite culture.Since the 21^st century,the nationwide intangible cultural heritage general investigation and protection activities have been actively carried out,which lead to many intangible cultural heritage projects enter into the view of government and public.In the fourth protection list of national intangible cultural heritage,traditional art non-material legacy projects accounted for 8.49%.China's government has proposed various measures at administrative level to protect intangible cultural heritage of traditional arts.However,most of the protection work is currently concentrated on the noumenon of intangible cultural heritage,that is,the protection of"substance".But the protection activities do not pay sufficient attention on the cultural connotation of intangible cultural heritage and neglect the demand of audiences,and the awareness of society in the holistic protection of intangible cultural heritage is weak."Substance"origins from of the"use"of materials,but it also embodies the significance of culture.As true for cultural heritage that it cannot be defined as a visible“substance”.It is a cultural symbol that is constantly developed with the human cultural progress.The heritage is a tangible material which contains cultural significance inherent.Although some heritage is intangible,it manifests and highlights the existence and value of the substance.This is the immateriality of cultural heritage.Fei Xiaotong once argued:"Culture is artificial and humane."As a cultural symbol,Qijiang peasant woodcut print is the carrier of the local folk culture and folk woodcut printmaking techniques,forming an integrated development.With the shifting social environment,the original use value and existence significance of Qijiang peasant woodcut print has become fatigue and diminished.In the new cultural context,it is necessary to re-establish a cultural identity of Qijiang peasant woodcut print to satisfy people's spiritual requirements for future inheritance.From the perspective of holistic protection of intangible cultural heritage,this paper studies the protection measures and inherent laws of the Qijiang peasant woodcut print.It proposes a systematic protection of its entire artistic expression and content to strengthen the public participation in cultural consciousness and cultural self-confidence,focuses on the establishment of cultural ecology,and analyzes the deficiencies in the cultural protection process,explores inner cultural connotation and more reasonable protection measures,in order to provide reference for the"intangible heritage"protection of government functional departments,and contribution to the protection of Qijiang peasant woodcut print and the local"intangible heritage"protection courses in Chongqing.
