With the deepening of globalization,China has enjoyed rapid economic development since 1990 s.China enjoys growing international status and plays an increasingly important role in international community. In view of China's rapid economic advancement, foreign countries, especially developing countries are seeking cooperation with China to learn China's economic development mode and relevant experience.Under such backdrop,China establishes all kinds of training centers to introduce China's economic mode and experience and to provide talent training programs for developing countries. In this way,China has also successfully enhanced its exchange and cooperation with other countries. The material of this interpretation practice comes from the tour inspection visit in Shanghai and Xiamen held by China-Europe Vocational Training Center. It is comprised of two parts: the Yangshan Deep Water Port Introduction Meeting and the Forum on International Industrial Production Capacity Cooperation. This report summarizes difficulties in the interpretation and corresponding interpretation strategies and methods for conference interpretation. On the basis of the Interpretive Theory proposed by the French scholar Danica Seleskovitch, and under the guidance of its core concept of conveying the non-verbal sense, this paper summarizes five major interpretation strategies and methods: addition, omission, ambiguous treatment of numbers, liberal interpretation as well as segmentation and combination. This paper lists difficulties in the interpretation practice and gives corresponding interpretation strategies and methods, thus providing a reference for relative conference interpretation.
