Drama "Sun Yirang" And The Elaboration Of Its Creation

The drama Sun Yirang tells the story of the patriotic educationist Sun Yirang's establishment of Wenzhou normal School in the late Qing Dynasty against the background of the late Qing Dynasty's abolishment of imperial examinations and the promotion of new studies.On the basis of the open structure,the script adopts the strategy of double-line narrative,which interweaves the contradictions among society,family and individual,so as to show the choices of people under different circumstances in the late Qing Dynasty.This paper presents the development of modern education in China and reproduces the dark social reality of the late Qing Dynasty by means of the interwoven creation of virtuality and reality.And through the use of dramatic images,this thesis concretizes the image of Sun Yirang and at the same time clarifies the theme of "Education rejuvenates the country".
