Research On Cambodia's Economic Modernization Process (1953-2015)

The economic modernization of Cambodia has lasted for more than 60 years,and its level of economic modernization has generally spiraled upward.In 2005,Cambodia's GDP growth rate reached 13.25%.In recent years,it has basically stabilized at around 7%,and the economic modernization index has grown steadily.At present,four horse-drawn carriages driven by the national economy are used in agriculture,clothing,tourism and construction.Exploring the development of Cambodia's economic modernization and understanding the dynamics of its economic modernization will not only enrich the theory of economic modernization,but also help people to understand Cambodia's economic modernization more comprehensively.At the same time,it will also have certain value for further in-depth cooperation between China and Cambodia.The article will refer to the evaluation system of China Modernization Report 2005,and comprehensively use qualitative and quantitative research methods to analyze Cambodia's economic modernization.The article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is an overview of Cambodia's economic modernization before its start;that is,the world situation from 1863 to 1952,the industrial revolution,and France's "double role" in Cambodia's economic modernization.It also briefly introduces the Cambodian tradition during this period.Social model.The second chapter mainly analyzes the modern start of the Cambodian economy from 1953 to 1970,from the beginning of industrialization in Cambodia in 1953 to the exploration period in the early 1970 s.It is mainly divided into the understanding of Cambodian leading elites in the development of Cambodia's economic modernization during the initial period,the economic measures in the initial period,and the economic modernization development in the initial period.The third chapter is the difficult exploration of Cambodia's economic modernization from 1970 to 1992.It mainly introduces the development of Cambodia's economic modernization from 1970 to 1992.It is mainly divided into the understanding of Cambodia's economic modernization and development during the exploration period.Measures,the state of economic modernization during the exploration period,etc.The fourth chapter is the comprehensive development of Cambodia's economic modernization,that is,the development of Cambodia's economic modernization process from 1993 to 2015.It is mainly divided into three sections: the exploration of Cambodia's economic modernization by Cambodian elites,economic development measures,and economic modernization.The fifth chapter is the overall evaluation of Cambodia's economic modernization.It uses innovative methods to summarize the level of Cambodia's economic modernization.It is divided into the overall quantitative analysis of Cambodia's economic modernization,the characteristics of Cambodia's economic modernization and the exploration of power,and then the development of Cambodia's economic modernization.Revelation and so on.From the perspective of quantitative evaluation indicators,Cambodia entered the initial stage of classical economic modernization in the late 1960 s and early 1970 s.Since 2015,Cambodia's economic modernization has been in the development stage of classical economic modernization,and a new economic modernization has emerged.factor.In addition,the author also concluded that the characteristics of Cambodia's economic modernization mainly include: modernization of exogenous economy,modernization of state-led economy,late start of economic modernization and tortuous development,single industrial employment structure and unsynchronized development,economic modernization and the world.The gap between the advanced levels is still large,and the economic modernization is greatly affected by culture.In short,the current level of economic modernization in Cambodia is still not high,and it tends to follow the development path of comprehensive economic modernization,and there is still much room for its development.
