As an important part of function words, conjunctions in Chinese play an important role in cohesion in paragraphs. The number of Chinese conjunctions is large and their usage is complex, which is one of the key and difficult points in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. The juxtaposition conjunctions play an important role in both Chinese and Vietnamese, because they are of high frequency, highly meaningless and undeniable connective function, which is the first necessary category in conjunctions. We find that Vietnamese students have many errors in learning Chinese juxtaposition conjunctions. In order to find the root cause,we will make a thorough and meticulous comparative study of Chinese and Vietnamese juxtaposition conjunctions. This paper will make a comparison between Chinese and Vietnamese juxtaposition conjunctions from the two dimensions of intralingual comparison and interlingual comparison, then make a comprehensive analysis of the errors in the use of Chinese juxtaposition conjunctions by Vietnamese native speakers based on the interlanguage corpus, and then make a relevant investigation on the acquisition situation, then summarize the typological characteristics of Chinese juxtaposition conjunctions and analyze the relationship between them and errors, and finally put forward relevant teaching methods. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:1.Based on the comparison, error analysis and acquisition order of Chinese and Vietnamese juxtaposition conjunctions,we summarized the common type characteristics of Chinese and Vietnamese juxtaposition conjunctions, and combined with the existing research, summed up the personality type characteristics of Chinese juxtaposition conjunctions.(1)The common type characteristics of Chinese and Vietnamese juxtaposition conjunctions:(1)Both Chinese and Vietnamese have unit and binary coordinate conjunctions, and all coordinate conjunctions in Chinese and Vietnamese can be used to connectpart-of-speech components.(2)There are a lot of parataxis phenomena in analytic language, such as Chinese and Vietnamese.(3)Chinese and Vietnamese coordinate conjunctions both have the phenomenon of concurrent types and are mainly used as prepositions.(4)The coordinate conjunctions in Chinese and Vietnamese are located in the intermediate position of the connected components according to the word order distribution, belonging to the typical central connection item and conforming to the "principle of coordinating conjunctions in the middle" of linguistic typology.(2)Thecharacteristics of personality types of Chinese juxtaposition conjunctions:(1)There are many coordinate conjunctions in Chinese and the division of labor is clear, which is the unique type of Chinese coordinate conjunctions.Chinese coordinate conjunctions have unique stylistic features: "heel" is widely used in inside,Mandarin, and is mostly used in oral English. However, they are not as widely used as "harmony",which is common in both spoken and written inside.Among the many coordinate conjunctions in Chinese,"he" is a typical coordinate conjunction in terms of semantic connection.(2)In addition to marked coordinate structures marked with coordinate conjunctions, there are also a large number of unmarked coordinate structures in Chinese. The investigation found that the phenomenon of linking words and phrases with legal meaning in Chinese is obviously superior to Vietnamese.Obviously,Chinese is a paratactic dominant language.(3)Chinese coordinate conjunction connectionist part-of-speech component: from the perspective of typology, the usage function of "and" connectionist part-of-speech component "is the most frequently used and unmarked of all usage functions of Chinese coordinate conjunction" and ",and students are the first to acquire it.Mandarin Chinese lacks a universal coordinate conjunction of connecting verbs, while Indo-European universal coordinate conjunctions are usually suitable for various parts of speech and various phrases and clauses of noun-verb forms, such as English "and",German "und",French "et" and Russian "?" [I].Vietnamese "V ŕ" also has the characteristic of Indo-European extensive coordinating conjunction.Chinesecoordinating conjunction "He" can only connect words or phrases, and cannot connect clauses, which has become a unique type characteristic of Chinese. The Chinese word "he" follows the principles of similarity, similarity, parallelism and symmetry when connecting parallel structures, and cannot connect components with unbalanced structures, inconsistent semantic categories and different functions."and"is usually used to connect nominal components but not verb phrases and clauses. When connecting more than three juxtaposed components, the conjunction "he"should be placed before the last juxtaposed component.the first two items are usually connected by a pause or comma(4)Chinese juxtaposition conjunctions connect verbal components: "He" is limited to connecting disyllabic verbs when it is used to connect verbal components. The conjunctive components should have common additional or joint components before and after the conjunctive components."He" can not be used to connect two verbal phrases which occur continuously. The two verbal phrases which occur continuously are usually connected by a stop sign.(5)When Chinese juxtapositional conjunctions connect adjective components: "He" is used to connect adjective components,it is limited to connecting disyllabic adjectives. The conjunctive components should have common additional or joint components before and after the conjunctive components.2.By investigating the acquisition errors of Chinese and other non-native speakers,it is found that Vietnamese students and students from other countries have the same types of errors in learning Chinese juxtaposition conjunctions. It can be inferred that the reasons for Vietnamese students' errors in learning Chinese juxtaposition conjunctions are largely determined by the unique typological characteristics of Chinese juxtaposition conjunctions.Manifested as:(1)The Chinese conjunction "He" can't connect clauses.Students are not clear about this rule, resulting in the error of "He" connecting clauses. When the conjunction of "and" connects more than three juxtaposition elements,it should be placed before the last juxtaposition element.Students do not understand this rule and make mistakes in order.(2)When the Chinese conjunction "He" is used to connect the components ofverbs and adjectives,it is limited to connecting disyllabic verbs and adjectives. The conjunctive components should have common additional or joint components before and after the conjunctive components.Students are not clear about this rule. They often use "and" to connect non-disyllabic verbs or adjectives,or "and" to connect predicate elements without common additional or joint elements.3.Based on the typological characteristics of Chinese juxtaposition conjunctions,we put forward some teaching suggestions for Vietnamese students to learn Chinese juxtaposition conjunctions in order to promote the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Based on the comparison of Chinese and Vietnamese juxtaposition conjunctions, this paper aims to find out the typological characteristics of Chinese juxtaposition conjunctions. After that, the errors of Vietnamese students in using Chinese juxtaposition conjunctions are analyzed and the acquisition order is investigated. The typological characteristics of Chinese juxtaposition conjunctions are verified again, and teaching suggestions are put forward on this basis.
