Study On The Digital Application Of Buddhist Statue Art In Shuilu Temple

Shuilu Temple Buddhist statue is a classic work of Buddhist statue art in Ming Dynasty.Due to the influence of time,climate and man-made factors,it is seriously damaged.How to preserve this splendid art treasure permanently and let more people appreciate and study the Buddhist statue art of Shuilu Temple is an important problem that must be solved at present.In this paper,the digital protection of Buddhist statue art in Shuilu Temple was carried out by means of vectorgraph,illustration,pattern extraction and virtual three-dimensional model.It was also applied to Shuilu Temple Digital Museum and animation and so on,which played an active role in promoting the preservation,protection,restoration,cultural dissemination,education and tourism of cultural relics.In this research,firstly,the author carried out field trip of Shuilu Temple,collected relevant picture album data,consulted a large number of digital protection documents,and summarized them,so as to determine the digital protection scheme,which mainly includes computer illustration,vectorgraph,pattern extraction drawing,and three-dimensional manual modeling.Secondly,the drawing methods of vectorgraph,illustrations,pattern extraction and three-dimensional manual modeling were discussed.Thirdly,the process of making vectorgraph,illustrations and three-dimensional models was elaborated through different Buddhist statues.Finally,the digital achievement of Shuilu Temple Buddhist statue art was applied to Shuilu Temple digital museum and animation and so on,which promoted the protection,display and dissemination of Shuilu Temple Buddhist statue art.The results show that the digital application of Shuilu Temple Buddhist statue art is simple,low-cost and highly operable,which is a relatively successful technical exploration and plays a very important role in the future digital application of other cultural relics.(This paper contains 88 figures,2 tables and 59 references)...
