A Translation Report Of Confusion Of Civilization:the Way Out For Tibetan Education(Excerpts) From The Perspective Of The Psychological Mechanism Of Translation Expression

This translation report is completed according to the most part of Chapter 7,Section 1 and Section 2 of the Chinese work Confusion of Civilization: The Way Out for Tibetan Education which is written by the Tibetan scholar Badeng Nima.He analyzed the historical and realistic problems existing in Tibetan society,then found out the root causes of the problems,and put forward new opinions.From an academic point of view,this paper comprehensively expounds the basic concepts of Tibetan education in the context of the development of Chinese culture and the basic conditions and functions of school education in Tibetan area.Through the use of interdisciplinary research methods,the Tibetan education is analyzed and explored.This translation practice report takes the psychological mechanism of translation expression as the theoretical framework and then translates the articles.By presenting the complete process of the source language and the target language to the reader,a more complete cognitive and understanding environment is provided for the readers.In the process of translation,the following strategies are used according to Poulisse's theory of compensation.They are substitution,simplification,correction and re-conceptualization.In this paper,the author explores the translation techniques of this text through the translation of Tibetan educational literary works.This paper is divided into the following parts: the first part of the article is mainly an overview of the translation project,mainly introduces the relevant situation of the translation project,including the author of the translated text and the work;the second part of the article is mainly a description of the pre,while and post translation.In pre-translation,the author analyzes the text,and explores the cases in while-translation,then reflects and corrects the translation in post-translation.The third part of the article mainly deals with the framework of translation.It takes the psychological mechanism of translation expression as the core,mainly including the process of translation as well as the feasibility of translation;the fourth part of the article mainly analyzes the cases in the process of translation,including vocabulary,syntax and other issues,and the author analyzes and explores them from the psychological process of translation.
