If the improper operation of information loss occurs during the consecutive interpretation,it will result in the lack of completeness and accuracy of the output of the interpretation,so the quality of the consecutive interpretation will be affected,leading to poor communication.Therefore,it's necessary for interpreter to find a way to solve this problem.Based on the author's interpreting experience at the Dominica Investment and Economic Opportunities Simulation Forum,the author gives a brief analysis of information loss in Spanish into Chinese consecutive interpretation and doped out proper solutions.Through previous researches and the author's own experience and practice,the author proposed the definition of information loss,and then summarized it according to Gile's Effort Model.There are three aspects to tracking this improper operation-listening comprehension,note writing skills and memory load.Based on the above discussion,painstaking pre-interpretation preparation,solid digital training,clear note symbols,and great short-term memory are essential.The author hopes that these solutions will improve the quality of training courses and improve the integrity and accuracy of Spanish into Chinese consecutive interpretation.
