Chinese idiom is a long history, handed down from generation to generation, widely used and has the written color of the stereotypes of the phrase, vividly show the charm of the Chinese language and culture. In this time-honored idiom family, there are some sub-types of idioms that are closely related to the seasons. They not only reflect the splendid Chinese culture, but also reflect their own unique cultural implications, which occupy an important position in idioms. However, from the research results of idioms in recent years,we can find that almost none of the articles have made a systematic and thorough discussion on Chinese seasonal idioms, and there is almost a blank literature on phonetics, semantics, pragmatics and cognition.Based on the above reasons, this paper end to collect a certain range by seasonal ingredients "spring" "summer" "autumn" members of the "winter" season of idioms,as the research object, through the season idiom internal and external, static and dynamic system arrangement and study, analyzed the cause of its semantic categories, semantic transformation and dynamic applications,to explore the hidden culture contains,to better connect the subjective understanding of the bridge and the objective world,so that the idiom type a further in-depth study of idioms in seasons and refinement,in order to the language teaching and dictionary can help,And reduce the errors in cross-cultural communication, and build an effective platform for cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries. The content of this paper is divided into eight sections:Chapter one is the introduction, which introduces the research object of this paper--Chinese seasonal idioms, and summarizes the research history and status quo of Chinese seasonal idioms in an all-round way.It finds the existing problems in the research of Chinese seasonal idioms, and introduces the research methods, corpus sources and theoretical basis of this paper. The second chapter mainly analyzes the seasonal idioms.By discussing the definition of idioms in the academic circle, this paper frames the corpus of Chinese seasonal idioms, the research object of this paper.According to the 27 groups ofseasonal idioms with the same composition and different word order, this paper analyzes the transformation form, noumenon and variant as well as the structure and function. The third chapter, from the Angle of combining diachronic and synchronic, analyzes the Chinese seasonal idioms from the shallow to the deep.As far as the diachronic source is concerned, the generation of seasonal idioms is explored. On the one hand, the generation relationship of source form is taken as the breakthrough point, and it is integrated into three categories: one source one form, one source many forms and one source one form.On the other hand,it explores the generation methods of seasonal idioms and concludes five types: selection, generalization, ellipsis, addition and substitution. At the synchronic level, the author first focuses on the structure, the carrier of meaning,to analyze and summarize the structure of seasonal idioms, and focuses on the juxtaposition structure,in which the number takes the first place. While further studying the internal characteristics of the structure, the author also explains the unbalanced distribution of idiom structure.Secondly,it classifies and distributes the types of seasonal idioms. The fourth chapter mainly studies the semantics of Chinese seasonal idioms. In terms of the surface semantic types related to the nominal components of seasonal idioms, they mainly include seven categories: people and their body parts, utensils, abstract things, plants and animals, color, nature, space and time.In terms of the deep meaning of season idiom,we have summarized six semantic categories, that is,the emotion of characters, virtue, scenery, time, custom, political rule and situation.Chapter five discusses the semantic construction mechanism of Chinese seasonal idioms.Firstly,it classifies the motivation of Chinese seasonal idioms to generate rich semantics through metonymy and metaphor mechanism, including the subjective and objective motivation of metaphor, the subjective and objective motivation of metonymy, and the subjective and objective motivation of the combined action of metaphor and metonymy. The metaphor of similarity and similarity can be divided into subjective and objective combination that metonymy correlation can be subdivided into subjective and objective in terms of relevance and combination thatmetaphor and metonymy combination of the subjective and objective factors can be divided into the objective similarity combination, subjective and objective correlation similarity correlation between objective and work together, the correlation between subjective and objective similarity function, subjective similarity and subjective correlation work together, through the analysis of more than ten kinds,it is concluded that "most" subjective motivation effects "this conclusion;Secondly, based on the conclusion in the previous section, the subjective quantity of Chinese seasonal idioms is discussed, which further proves the importance of subjective motivation in the mechanism of semantic generation of seasonal idioms.Chapter six discusses the specific application of Chinese seasonal idioms in context from the dynamic diachronic perspective. After the creation of Chinese seasonal idioms,it is impossible to remain unchanged in the history of regime change and cultural diversity, and the specific changes and development need to be explored through dynamic diachronic research. This chapter is divided into two sections :(1)the diachronic change of the status of seasonal idioms. There are two categories: one is the change in the frequency of use of seasonal idioms with only one meaning;the other is the change in the status of seasonal idioms with multiple meanings.(2)dynamic changes of recessive and dominant seasonal idioms, including dynamic semantic variation and dynamic segregation of structure.Chapter seven analyzes the cultural implication of Chinese seasonal idioms.Seasons have the greatest impact on farming societies. Therefore, most of these seasonal idioms are related to ancient farming culture. In order to make crops harvest, sacrificial divination became an indispensable link, and this sacrificial way made ancient people regard gods as spiritual sustenance,so these idioms naturally contain some religious implications. At the same time, some seasonal idioms are closely related to cultural entertainment and reflect people's aesthetic tendency. There are seasonal idioms and People's Daily life is closely related to the selection of the expression and daily necessities of the ingredients. At last, the conclusion summarizes the main content of the thesis, and points out the innovation and shortcomings of the thesis. Some possible innovations are as follows:firstly, this paper makes a systematic study of Chinese seasonal idioms from multiple dimensions such as structure, function, generation, semantics, metaphorical cognition, dynamic pragmatics, and cultural implication, which makes up for the lack of overall and systematic discussion in the academic community. The second is the use of quantitative and qualitative combination, synchrony and diachronic, description and interpretation, static and dynamic combination of a variety of research methods,as well as cognitive linguistics and other theories,in the semantic analysis of seasonal idioms, dynamic category, metaphor and other aspects of the in-depth discussion.
