With the arrival of the era of "Internet plus education ",the rapid development of information technology of the new generation has had a profound impact on education and teaching.Due to the flexibility of its performance,easy access to resources,and timely feedback of information technology class,the learning method based on information technology has gradually become a major means to promote learners' individualized learning.The Education Informatization 2.0 Action Plan of the Ministry of Education in 2018 states that by 2022 we will have primarily achieved the overall goal that all teachers and school-aged students will have had access to information technology in teaching and learning respectively,and that all schools will have their digital campuses constructed.Through analysis of the goal,a conclusion can be drawn that the tendency of education development in China will be to further informatize and intelligentize education,in the duration of which,smart class is the main position and key force in realizing the construction of smart campus.And it is also a desirable outcome of focusing educational informatization on teaching,class and the interaction between teachers and students.Although the current pilot classes are taking advantage of smart teaching environment,but they fail to integrate theories on smart class teaching properly into teaching practice.Moreover,teaching methods being used are not in line with the smart class theory-based teaching methods.This study first describes the theoretical basis of smart theory class and the research status of the five-link English reading teaching model in Junior Middle School at home and abroad.Then,the author uses questionnaire survey,interview and experimental study methods to investigate the smart experimental class in Junior Middle School in Hanzhong City in order to understand the practice of English reading teaching in the smart classroom and try to answer the two questions: 1.What are the main problems in the smart classroom of the experimental school in junior high school English reading teaching? 2.How to apply the smart classroom model to junior middle school English reading teaching more effectively?Through this study,the author found that there are the following problems in the wisdom classroom English reading teaching: the lack of relevant reading materials push before class,the incomplete process of teachers' teaching mode,the negative state of students' participation in activities,and the lack of stratification of reading materials pushed after class.In view of the above specific problems,according to the wisdom classroom English teaching mode theory,and the current situation of reading class in the five links teaching mode of pilot schools,the author puts forward a new mode of teaching mode based on wisdom classroom“five plus two”,five is the original five links mode,two is pre-class reading preparation and after-class reading extension activities.That is to say,it includes the pre-class preparation,the teaching design in the class,and the teaching mode of reading in the wisdom class consolidated after class.First,the wisdom class teacher pushes the reading materials before class according to the theory of the proximal development area.Secondly,the teachers make full use of the theory of classroom transformation to create the design and interaction of teaching activities.Furthermore,teachers should pay attention to the individual differences of students and the evaluation of students,and do a good job of reading consolidation activities after class.By adopting this reading teaching mode,it not only makes the wisdom classroom English teaching play a maximum role in junior high school English reading teaching,but also shows the advantages that information teaching should have,and better stimulates the students' interest in learningreading English.Finally,the author summarizes the results of this paper,analyzes the shortcomings and puts forward the suggestions of the effective application of smart classroom on reading teaching in junior middle school English teaching.
