Research On The Gradually Eastward Spread Of Erlitou Culture

Since the discovery of Erlitou cultural relics in the 1950 s,there have been more than 400 sites of Erlitou culture found in various places,among which the east of Erlitou cultural site in Yiluo region is relatively rich,which has laid a solid foundation for the study of the eastern development of Erlitou culture.On the basis of collecting relevant materials as detailed as possible,this article takes Erlitou cultural relics in the eastern region as the research object,and uses the methods of archaeological stratigraphy,typology and cultural factor analysis,based on the research results of historical philology and historical geography,this article makes a comprehensive discussion on the regional scope,eastern boundary,route,characteristics and causes of the Erlitou culture's eastward spread,it is expected to be beneficial to the study of the Orient and the changes of ethnic groups in Xia Dynasty.This article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.It mainly explains related concepts such as "Erlitou Culture","Yueshi Culture","Xiaqi Yuan Culture","Erlitou Culture's Eastward Spread ","Eastern Region" and other related concepts in the corresponding interpretation,and the related research content of Erlitou culture remains simple carding and analysis,and then the research objectives,research significance and research methods used in this paper are proposed.The second chapter is the discovery and confirmation of Erlitou cultural remains in the eastern region.According to the regional distribution characteristics of Erlitou culture,according to different geographical units and administrative divisions,the Erlitou cultural relics in different parts of the East were analyzed in order from west to east,mainly involving accumulation,unearthed relics,cultural appearance,etc.,and considered that the cultural relics of Erlitou in the eastern region are concentrated in Gongyi,Xingyang,Zhengzhou,Xinzheng in central Henan,Kaifeng,Zhoukou in eastern Henan and Fuyang in northwestern Anhui,and Gongyi,Xingyang,and Zhengzhou are the most abundant areas.The third chapter is on the study of the stages,ages and types of typical Erlitou culture sites.By analyzing and staging 11 typical Erlitou culture sites in the Eastern Region,and comparing with the " four phase eight segments " staging method in the Erlitou,we can determine the stages and ages of Erlitou culture remains in the eastern region,then it analyzes the cultural types of the Erlitou era in the region.Among them,the Erlitou culture remains in the eastern region can be divided into four phase in Gongyi,seven phases in Zhengzhou-Xingyang and four phases in Kaifeng,the cultural types can be divided into Erlitou type in Zhengzhou area of central Henan Province and Duangang type in east Henan Province.The fourth chapter is about the route,characteristics and reasons of Erlitou culture going eastward.First,the general boundary of the eastern part of the Erlitou culture is deduced from the geographical environment and the distribution characteristics of the remains,and then the stage,age and early-late relationship of the Erlitou culture remains in different areas are taken into account,the paper deduces the general route of the Erlitou culture's eastward spread,and finally analyzes the characteristics and causes of the eastward spread of Erlitou culture.The eastward route of Erlitou culture is mainly divided into three routes: eastward route,eastward turn to southeastward branch route,and westward roundabout turn southeastward route.The dynamic process of the Erlitou culture's eastward spread is characterized by its phases and complexities.The phases feature is that the eastern spread of the Erlitou culture can be divided into four stages: the initial stage,the expansionist stage,the stagnant stage and the subsiding stage.The characteristics of complexity refer to the way in which the Erlitou culture spread to the east can be divided into intrusive and embedded communication,and the communication area can be divided into military occupation area,cultural assimilation area and cultural influence area.In addition,the eastward expansion of the Erlitou culture had its own political and economic historical background,which was not only the strategic intention of expanding territory and seizing resources,but also the goal of strengthening its dominance and promoting the development of the country.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.Summarize the main points and conclusions of the article.
