Garbage sorting is the first to realize the harmless,reduction and recycling of garbage,and its importance is increasingly well known.Public garbage sorting attitude had an important influence on their sorting behavior,but previous attitude research mainly used self-report scale to directly measure explicit attitude,which was prone to social approval effect and affected the accuracy of the results.In addition,studies found that evaluators might have opposite cognitive evaluations and emotional experiences of the same object.In view of this,this study was expected to further study the implicit attitude of garbage sorting.Firstly,it explored the test paradigm for accurately measuring the implicit attitude of garbage sorting.Then,it used this paradigm to investigate whether there was also a dissociation of cognition and emotion in the implicit attitude of garbage sorting.Finally,it explored the influence of video publicity on the cognitive and emotional dimensions of implicit attitude of garbage sorting.The research was divided into the following three parts:In Study 1,we first investigated whether implicit attitude of garbage sorting measured by Go/No Go Association Task(GNAT)paradigm would also be affected by contrast words type,then determined the appropriate measurement paradigm.Based on the results of the Study 1,the second study examined whether there was a dissociation effect between cognition and emotion in the implicit garbage sorting attitude of college students.In Study 3,we investigated the influence of different ways of appeal on the implicit attitude of garbage sorting in two dimensions.Main conclusions were as follows:(1)The measurement results of GNAT paradigm would be influenced by the types of contrast words.The effect value of implicit garbage sorting attitude was higher when contrast words was negative words than when contrast words was positive words,suggested to choose GNAT paradigm with positive contrast words.(2)The implicit attitude of college students towards garbage sorting had a dissociation effect between cognition with emotion,which not only had the high cognition evaluation to garbage sorting,but also has the negative emotion tendency.The effect value of implicit garbage sorting attitude on the cognitive dimension was significantly higher than that on the emotional dimension,which suggested that college students were rationally(cognitively)clear about what should be done in personal norms,agreed with the concept of garbage sorting,but still had emotional resistance(3)Video publicity could influence the implicit attitude of garbage sorting,but it had different influence on the emotional and cognitive dimensions of the implicit attitude,which mainly affected the implicit attitude of garbage sorting in the dimension of emotional tendency,and had no significant impact on the attitude of the cognitive dimension.There was no significant difference between emotional video and rational video.By exploring the cognition and emotion of college students' implicit attitude toward garbage sorting,this study found the dissociation effect of cognition and emotion in implicit attitude toward garbage sorting,and expounded the function and limitation of video publicity,which was helpful to deepen cognition of implicit attitude toward garbage sorting,explored more effective policies and systems,and further promote the publicity work of garbage sorting.
