In 1999,the international labor organization(ilo)first proposed the concept of "decent work",which refers to the satisfaction of workers' material and spiritual security,disposable working hours,organizational values consistent with family values and social values,and appropriate income and medical security(Duffy et al.,2017).Although China's research on decent work is later than that of other countries,it has made some achievements in economics,management and other related fields,but it is still less in the field of psychology.Therefore,this study introduced the decent labor measurement scale(DWS)for localization verification,and explored people's understanding of the connotation of decent labor under the background of China,so as to conduct a more in-depth study on decent labor.In this study,400 workers in henan province were surveyed by questionnaire.Firstly,the local verification of decent labor scale was conducted by quantitative research,and the understanding of Chinese workers on decent labor was investigated by qualitative research.Secondly,this paper explores the moderating effect of psychological capital on decent work and its consequence variables,and concludes as follows:(1)the reliability and validity results of DWS in China are good,and the analysis results of decent labor quality are basically consistent with the five dimensions of DWS.There were significant demographic differences in age(F = 3.38,p < 0.05),educational background(F = 2.86,p < 0.05)and industry(F = 6.21,p < 0.01)for decent work.(2)educational background was negatively correlated with employee happiness(r =-.27,p <.01),psychological capital(r =-.19,p <.01),decent work was positively correlated with Job related well-being(r=.49,p <.01),and psychological capital(r =.38,p <.01),while decent work was negatively correlated with emotional exhaustion(r =-.54,p <.01).(3)Safe working condition(?=-0.141,p < 0.01)?Adequate Compensation(?=-0.279,p < 0.01)?Free Time and Rest(?=-0.436,p < 0.01)and Complementary Values(?=-0.050,p < 0.01)negative prediction of labor emotional exhaustion?Safe working condition(?= 0.146,p < 0.01)?Access to Health Care(?= 0.144,p < 0.01)?Adequate Compensation(?= 0.156,p < 0.01)?Complementary Values(?= 0.209,p < 0.01)Positive predictor of Job related well-being.Psychological capital plays a negativeregulating role between decent work and emotional exhaustion(n =-1.11,p<.01),while the positive regulating role of psychological capital between decent work and Job related well-being is marginal(n =.59,p<.10).Based on the localization verification of DWS,this paper introduces psychological capital,a positive psychological variable,to explore the relationship between decent work,psychological capital,emotional exhaustion and employee happiness.However,due to the limitations of cross-sectional study,and the sampling of subjects is limited to henan province,it is suggested that longitudinal study design should be adopted in future studies to expand the sampling range of subjects and measure DWS on a nationwide scale.At the same time,more outcome variables can be selected to comprehensively explore the results of decent work.
