Research On Contrast Of Ajia Gengosh? And The Chinese Language And How To Learn It

Between the end of Qing Dynasty and start of the Republic of China,sinologists who came to China have written many Chinese textbooks which based on Beijing mandarin.Ajia gengosh? and The Chinese Language and How to Learn It is representatively written by Japanese and British sinologists.They have vivid influence on Beijing mandarin textbooks later.These two books connected in the following aspects: the written background and origin,the arrangement and teaching of textbooks.So there are some studies of these two books before,but few studies focus on the contrast of them.In order to know the arrangement of these two textbooks and the writers' cognition of language elements,I will pay attention to the fundamental information of them,then try to give some suggestions to the Chinese textbooks and teaching nowadays.The paper is divided into six chapters:Introduction: Introduce historic and present situation of the study,reasons why I choose this topic,research methods and origins of relevant references and literatures.The historic and present situation is divided into three parts: the studies about the foreign Chinese textbooks in 1900 s,the studies about the Chinese textbooks which are written by Japanese and English sinologists in 1900 s,the studies about Ajia gengosh? and The Chinese Language and How to Learn It.First Chapter: The written background and the spread of Ajia gengosh? and The Chinese Language and How to Learn It.This chapter is divided into three parts: firstly,introducing the two books briefly,secondly,illustrating and contrasting the two books' written background,thirdly,exploring the spread of the two books briefly to make it possible of concrete studies later.The Second Chapter: Words choice and teaching of Ajia gengosh? and The Chinese Language and How to Learn It.This chapter is divided into two parts: firstly,analyzing the words selecting rules,secondly,introducing the words teaching methods and trying to see the advantages and disadvantages.The Third Chapter: Grammar phenomenon and teaching of Ajia gengosh? and The Chinese Language and How to Learn It.This chapter is divided into three parts,firstly,introducing the word's types and definition of terms,secondly,inquiring the phenomenon of Chinese grammar in the two books,thirdly,trying to see the teaching methods of grammar.The Fourth Chapter: Academic evaluation of Ajia gengosh? and The Chinese Language and How to Learn It.This chapter will conclude the advantages and disadvantages of these two books totally.Conclusion: This part is based on the former five parts,returning to the aims of the study and concluding this paper.
