Research Of Audio-visual Language In Oral History Documentaries

Oral history is a kind of historical documentary.This form of dictation has long been used in documentaries to make up for the lack of on-site documentation.Oral history documentaries based on this form of expression have only gradually become known in recent years.Its characteristics of oral narration,storytelling narrative,emotional narrative and detail narrative have attracted the attention and recognition of the audience.In related research fields,researchers have also begun to use oral historical documentaries as a documentary style to pay attention to their choice of subject matter,narrative characteristics,and their value and controversy.This article covers four chapters in total.The introduction mainly introduces the research background and significance,as well as the research status,research contents and research methods of oral history documentary.The first chapter is an overview of oral history documentary,which mainly introduces the definition and concept of oral history documentary,how oral history is combined with documentary,and the development process of oral history documentary.The second chapter mainly introduces the study of the picture language in the oral history documentary,through the use of lens and color changes,and studies the characteristics of the picture language in the oral history documentary.The third chapter introduces the study of audio language in oral history documentaries,including the personalized expression of characters,the reasonable arrangement of commentary,the types of music and sound used in oral history documentaries.The fourth chapter mainly introduces the combination of the first two chapters,that is,the combination of sound and painting in oral history documentaries.The specific ways are parallel multiple narrative perspectives,ingenious content and plots,and rational use of scene representation,etc.Finally,the conclusion and prospect are presented.In addition,the author has added the relevant elaboration of his graduation works in many places in the article,hoping to learn some practical experience from the theory and integrate it into the creative activities.It is no accident that oral history documentaries have gained greater popularity in manymedia.In the stage play in the name of the revolution,there is a line by Lenin that says“forgetting history is equal to betrayal”,which later evolved into the meaning that the nation that forgets history has no future.However,it is also true that the change of lifestyle in modern society makes people have to accept various ways of displaying history at the present stage,but there is a lack of opportunities for us to have close contact with history at the present stage.However,the emergence of oral history documentaries has improved this problem.Oral history documentaries bring people into a more real world in history and give them a closer feeling of vivid and real history.
