This article mainly studies the word order problem between Chinese Language and Indonesian language,focusing on six words order combinations,so as to explore the difference between Chinese and Indonesian word order system.The specific word order is:(1)"Adjective+Marker of comparison+Standard of comparison".(2)"Verb+Adverb or Adverb+Verb".(3)"Preposition+Noun Phrase".(4)"Adjective+Noun or Noun+Adjective".(5)"Relative Noun+Noun/Noun Phrase or Noun/Noun Phrase+Relative Noun".(6)"Subordinate+Clause or Clause+subordinate"?They are many Indonesian students who learn Mandarin have difficulty translating or making basic sentences from Indonesian to Mandarin,or from Mandarin to Indonesian.Most of Indonesian student,translate or write Mandarin sentences using Indonesian word order style sentences.Turns out it was wrong.Although the Mandarin and Indonesian languages follow the same SVO language pattern,the word order grammar of the two language sentences is very different.Mandarin language follows the grammar of word order:"explaining-explained",But in Indonesian Language follows the grammar of word order:"explained-explaining".In other words,these two languages have interchangeable wording.
