Chinese characters are the focus of Chinese learning.Learning Chinese characters through correct strategies can make it easier for students to learn Chinese characters.Indonesian students will have the problem of not being able to recognize the meaning of Chinese characters during the learning process of Chinese characters.If learners use the correct learning strategies,they will be able to understand and master Chinese character knowledge faster.This article combines teaching investigation and practice.The first chapter is the introduction,including the reason for selecting the topic,the research summary,the research object and the source of the corpus.The second chapter describes the teaching materials and teachers of Chinese character teaching,mainly explaining the resources of Indonesian Chinese teachers in Makassar Confucius Institute and the resources of volunteers of Chinese teachers of Chinese nationality.The third chapter investigates the strategies for students to learn Chinese characters.Through the results of investigation and comparison,this article discusses the differences and similarities of students' strategies for learning Chinese characters,and understands the effect of learning strategies on Chinese characters learning effect.Chapter 4 discusses the results of Chinese character tests and types of errors.The fifth chapter is the suggestion of Chinese character teaching,this text puts forward the relevant suggestion to student's study and teacher s teaching.
