Objective: To understand the current situation of mental health of Freshmen in a medical college in Wuhu City, and to analyze the factors influencing the mental health of freshmen and the relationship between the factors by using the method of structural equation model,so as to provide the basis for the mental screening of freshmen and the mental health work in the future. Methods: By using the method of cluster sampling,11093 valid questionnaires were collected. The questionnaire consists of two parts, one is general situation questionnaire, the other is symptom checklist 90(SCL-90).After all the data are collected,a database is established by using statistical software. After double input and error detection, descriptive statistical analysis is carried out,and the scale and data are specifically analyzed by using structural equation software Amos. Results: 1.For 11093 freshmen, the original average score of Somatized depression, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder was higher, and the original average score of depression even reached the high level of 17.41.2.In the reliability and validity test of the questionnaire and the scale,it is found that the reliability test of the state of health can reach more than 0.7 in the test of the average score of mental health;in the test of validity,we tested all the data The test value was 0.703 and the significant level was 0.023.3.Through the analysis of the fitting index of the structural equation model,it is found that all the fitting indexes meet the standard and the fitting degree is good.4.The analysis of the whole sample mental health model showed that the 9dimensions of SCL-90 had significant difference in the level of mental health(P<0.01),and the influence coefficients of the equation were different.5.Analysis of influencing factors in different dimensions: there was significant difference in scores of somatization between gender and family history(P<0.01);there was significant difference in scores of anxiety factors among gender, family history and major(P<0.01);The most significant difference was found in the influence of major on hostile factors(P= 0.009),and the influence coefficients of gender and major on hostile factors were 0.029 and 0.002;there were significant differences in the scores of family history and student cadres on compulsion(P<0.01);the most significant difference was found in the scores of student cadres on interpersonal relationship(P=0.004);The only child, gender, and student cadres all had significant differences in the scores of terrorist factors(P<0.01);gender had significant differences in the scores of paranoid factors(P<0.01);student cadres had no significant differences in psychosis(P>0.05).6.The model analysis of influencing factors in different grades shows that:(1)the study of 2014's freshmen's mental health found that there were significant differences in scores of obsessive-compulsive symptoms, anxiety, phobia and paranoia between genders(P<0.01);there were significant differences in scores of somatization, obsession, interpersonal relationship, depression suppression, anxiety and psychosis in family history(P<0.01);the only one was gender There was a significant difference in terror and psychosis among the children(P<0.05).(2)The results of 2015 grade Freshmen's mental health research showed that: there were significant differences in interpersonal relationship, hostility, terror and paranoia between genders(P<0.01);there was no difference in family's past history in psychological factors(P>0.05);there were highly significant differences in terrorist factors among only children(P<0.01).(3)The study of 2016 grade Freshmen's mental health found that: gender had a high significance in depression, anxiety, terror and paranoia(P<0.01);family history had a high significance in anxiety and hostility(P<0.01);whether it was an only child had no significant difference in somatization,obsessive-compulsive symptoms, interpersonal relationship, depression and other psychological factors(P>0.05).Conclusion: 1.SCL-90 is feasible and has good reliability and validity.2.Structural equation model can not only be used to test the reliability and validity of the scale, but also to clarify the influence of various factors on mental health and the relationship between the influencing factors.3.There are many factors that affect the mental health of freshmen, but they are influenced by gender, family history, only child, place of origin, profession and so on.
