Research On The Application Of Pop Style Illustrations In Traditional Chinese Themed Packaging Design

As the contemporary market economy develops,consumers are no longer satisfied simply with the function of product packaging.They have proposed more contemporary needs regarding the design style of the packaging,and the method of delivering information.By combining pop-style illustrations with traditional themes,a company can convey its messages more effectively.This form of expression is common,and the pop style has more contemporary and international influence.Based on this,the "pop style illustration blended with traditional Chinese themes" in product packaging design has practical significance.As a well-known liquor brand in Hebei,"Liulingzui" has failed to meet the diversified needs of consumers in recent years.This failure is attributed to the lack of fashion in its packaging design.In order to guide the packaging of "liu ling zui" wine products to the expression of contemporary design elements,this paper designed a new branch brand for it--"liu ling drunk".This brand's packaging design is based on Chinese traditional festivals and zodiac signs.Through dividing and reorganizing traditional theme patterns-such as zodiac patterns,festive symbols,classic characters,and traditional patterns-the pop style ion and the geometric design make this brand fashionable.This paper analyzes the similarities and differences between the characteristics of pop style graphics and the traditional Chinese theme patterns.The analysis is based on relevant theoretical research through literature analysis,.This paper also seeks to study and summarize the method of expression in the illustration design of traditional themes by creative illustration design,and reduced packaging design method,as well as obtaining the practical path of combining traditional Chinese themes with Western pop art.The goal is to explore the fusion of Chinese and Western cultures to find a road to innovative development.
